A couple was stopped by Malaysian border authorities on Wednesday (Oct 28) after allegedly trying to bring nearly RM3 million (S$944,370) in cash across the causeway. Police said the couple, claiming to be businesspeople travelling as tourists, had concealed the currency in the front passenger area. Investigations into the couple are ongoing.
