Telangana's engineering admission rate fell from 91 per cent in 2024 to 79 per cent in 2026 despite an increase in seats. Admissions declined in Computer Science and IT, while Civil, Mechanical and allied branches recorded modest growth in enrolment. Hyderabad: Engineering seats have surged in the last three years, but admissions have gone down in Telangana.
