CBI arrested an income tax inspector, Subhash Yadav, posted in Scindia House that housed I-T Investigation Wing in Ballard Estate area of South Mumbai, while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15 lakh from a complainant. The CBI allegedly caught Income Tax Inspector Subhash Kumar Yadav accepting Rs 15 lakh after an initial Rs 20 lakh demand to close a benami property case. Searches reportedly yielded Rs 11 lakh.
