Ahead of Chhath and Diwali, Northern Railway has revised the timings of several trains departing from Delhi and Anand Vihar. The train is likely to ease pressure on existing overnight trains during Diwali and Chhath, particularly for passengers travelling between Delhi, Prayagraj, Kanpur and Varanasi. Diwali may still be weeks away but for anyone planning to travel home for the festival, the booking rush has already begun.
