El Salvador will send over 2,000 soldiers to Haiti to rescue missing personnel and support anti-gang security operations, its foreign ministry said on Wednesday, while Haiti's electoral council postponed planned presidential elections to next year. The troops are trying to recover four military personnel who went missing in an ambush on the outskirts of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince.
