The second system is present and located over the South Andaman Sea near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A fresh low pressure system may form over the Bay of Bengal, bringing rain to Chennai on November 1 and 2. Its cyclone potential and track remain uncertain. The IMD expects the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal to turn west-northwestwards and become a severe cyclonic storm by midnight.
