When Trump called China a World War II ally as he welcomed Xi Jinping to the White House, Taiwan saw a warning sign. Most of the fighting against Japan was done by Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang, who later relocated their government to Taiwan. Beijing now claims the victory for the Communist Party. We meet one of Taiwan's last surviving veterans to ask who that victory really belongs to.
