Continuous rainfall over the past two days triggered a landslide on the Balibada Ghati road in Mohana block of Gajapati district in Odisha, blocking the route and disrupting communication with six villages. Three trees were also uprooted as the hillside gave way, leaving the road blocked. The affected villages depend on this road for connectivity. Waterlogging has also affected another stretch of the road, adding to the problems faced by residents.
