Five Hyderabad sweet shops shut and licences suspended after hygiene, pest, and adulteration violations found by TG SAFE inspections. Joint teams of Telangana's food safety authority and police inspected 16 sweet manufacturing and retail outlets across Hyderabad, seizing and discarding over 3,500 kg of food items worth Rs 16.86. The authority found expired and mislabelled food products, pest infestations, unhygienic food preparation areas.
