Mumbai’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 89 on Thursday morning, placing it in the satisfactory category under India’s national air quality classification. However, readings at several monitoring stations indicated moderate pollution levels in different parts of the city. Mumbai experienced hazy skies and humid conditions on Thursday, October 29, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast dry weather across Mumbai, Thane and Palghar over the next 24 hours.
