Despite Thursday's pullback, Brent crude has gained more than 17% this month, with tensions involving Iran, Saudi Arabia and Iran-backed Houthi militants keeping concerns over regional oil supplies in focus. Oil prices eased from six-month highs, however Brent crude prices still remained above $114 per barrel amid persistent supply concerns.
