The Malkangiri district administration stepped up preparedness to deal with the impact of Cyclone Arnab on Wednesday, with more than 4,000 people evacuated and accommodated at various cyclone shelters across the district. A total of 90 temporary shelters and four permanent shelters have been kept ready to accommodate people if further evacuation is required.
