#WATCH | The Cabinet has approved the Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme to boost domestic manufacturing, with a total outlay of ₹10,000 crore over 13 years, up to FY 2039–40. The scheme has four components: Interest Subvention Assistance, Testing & Certification Assistance, Land Leasing Support, and Operational Expenditure Assistance. Under the Interest Subvention Assistance component, ₹859 crore will be provided as a 3% annual interest subsidy on term loans.
