Singh was best known for creating ‘CID,’ the crime investigation series that premiered in 1998 and went on to become one of the longest-running shows on Indian television. Veteran television producer-director Brijendra Pal Singh, who created the long-running crime show CID as well as the horror hit Aahat, has died following a massive heart attack.
