Contracts cover brakes, doors and gangways for Indian Railways’ new trainsets. Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Indian Railways’ manufacturing unit, will produce 50 Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets. Each trainset will have 24 coaches and is designed for long-distance overnight. Civic and transport authorities are coordinating field operations to improve commuter safety, reduce transit bottlenecks, and streamline daily travel across key urban corridors.
