IMD Bhubaneswar director Manorama Mohanty said the system had finished crossing the coast. The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim and Jharkhand from October 28–31, with widespread rain expected in Bihar from October 29-31. As cyclone Arnab moves inland after making landfall along the Andhra Pradesh-Yanam coast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places.
