A 79-year-old retired engineer from Borivali West has allegedly lost Rs 4.73 lakh after three unauthorised transactions of Rs 1,57,708 each through the Tata CLiQ payment gateway linked to his ICICI Bank account. Borivli police have registered a case and are tracing the beneficiary account.
