Data from the Noida transport department showed that Noida and Greater Noida had 9.7 lakh registered petrol and 1.3 lakh diesel vehicles as of October 27. Delhi will bar non-BS-VI petrol and diesel vehicles registered outside the capital from November 1 to January 31, with exemptions for electric, CNG and specified essential. Delhi and neighbouring NCR districts are coordinating enforcement against polluting vehicles as a part of winter pollution plan.
