NHRC seeks report on high-decibel DJ sound. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has sought an action taken report (ATR) from Khurda district administration and police over the alleged use of high-decibel DJ sound systems during a recent Ganesh Puja immersion procession in Jatni that reportedly led to the death of one person. A slab of a building collapsed on spectators due to the alleged vibration from DJ sound leading to the death.
