A court in Uttarakhand’s Bageshwar sentenced a Ukrainian national to two years of simple imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh for staying in India after his tourist visa expired in April 2025. The court also ordered his deportation to Ukraine after he completed his sentence.
