With Singapore’s new target of deploying 4 gigawatt-peak (GWp) of solar by 2035, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) is stepping up efforts to unlock more opportunities for solar deployment. This includes identifying new spaces and applications for solar, making it easier for private residential property owners to adopt solar, and ensuring the power grid remains ready to support the increased supply from solar, EMA said in a statement on Tuesday.
