Singapore expects a joint task force formed with Indonesia to investigate firms linked to forest fires to make a difference in terms of deterrence. “We are, in effect, putting all the companies on notice that the joint task force will ensure that there is a very close coordination of actions and sharing of information between Indonesia and Singapore,” said Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in a joint news conference with Indonesia Foreign.
