India to get preferential access under its proposed US trade deal, Piyush Goyal said, as New Delhi advances negotiations with other partners amid global trade uncertainty. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor also indicated progress in the negotiations, saying that the major issues had been addressed and the two countries were close to finalising an agreement.
