As Singapore and Germany expand cooperation in AI and digitalisation, more jobs will be created for Singaporeans, who will gain skills and training from these roles, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said on Tuesday (Oct 27). Speaking at a joint press conference at Parliament House with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Mr Wong said the partnership will open up new opportunities for small‑ and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) companies in both countries.
