After layoffs Microsoft offers voluntary exits to employees. Microsoft is offering roughly 60,000 employees voluntary buyouts. Several teams within the company are "participating" in this programme, with employees in India also being eligible. The programme offers eligible employees in India, the US, the UK and Canada financial support and career-planning resources if they choose to leave the company.
