Arunachal Pradesh Police have called in two Rapid Action Force (RAF) companies from Navi Mumbai to Pasighat as reinforcements. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs had directed on Saturday that two Rapid Action Force companies, comprising about 250 personnel, be flown from Navi Mumbai to Arunachal Pradesh's Pasighat. The Centre has rushed 250 Rapid Action Force personnel to Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, after protests against the proposed Siang dam turned violent.
