Twenty-six countries have signed the United Nations Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents, known as the Accra Convention, aimed at reducing legal uncertainties and facilitating the movement. Ghana is seeking international support for a United Nations convention that could make it easier for businesses to finance, transfer, and trade goods in transit, as the country prepares to host.
