Early Monday, social worker Nadeem Shaikh was brutally attacked by a gang armed with sickles, just outside his office in Malwani. This violent assault was fueled by his outspoken criticism of local history-sheeter Sajid's criminal activities. Shaikh suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital for urgent medical care. Authorities have made one arrest linked to this attempted murder case, with investigations ongoing.
