The Odisha government has banned fishing in the sea and restricted tourist entry to hills, waterfalls and dams in six districts as a precaution against an approaching cyclone. The restrictions apply to Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur, which have been identified as vulnerable districts in southern Odisha. The storm is expected to make landfall along the Andhra Pradesh coast on October 28.
