Top officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkiye are in Tehran, in a fresh diplomatic push for peace in the region. The three countries, signatories of the Mecca Defense pact, are set to have their first high level engagement with Iranian officials. Riyadh has stressed the importance of open channels for negotiations, emphasising that the talks aim to prevent escalation and pave the way for agreement to end conflict.
