Indonesia has defended cuts in natural gas piped to Singapore, insisting it has kept levels above the minimum specified in existing contracts. On Sunday, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong called for commitments to be honoured. Indonesia has cut daily deliveries to Singapore since Saturday, redirecting resources to provide power in Batam, Bintan and Sumatra.
