A Jet2 aircraft briefly veered onto the grass beside the runway while landing at Birmingham Airport amid strong winds caused by Storm Boelo. Flight LS1310, travelling from Venice, returned safely to the tarmac and proceeded towards the airport stand. Jet2 attributed the incident to “exceptional weather conditions.” According to a BBC report, passengers disembarked normally following the incident.
