The 2026 nationwide count now stands at more than twice last year's full-year total, with cases reported across 47 jurisdictions including New Jersey. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention counted 4,410 confirmed measles cases in the United States in 2026 as of Oct. 15, along with three deaths and 42 new outbreaks.
