A shrimp farmer from Gurubai village in Puri district of Odisha allegedly died by suicide after facing pressure over a dispute related to shrimp farming. His family has accused Nuapada outpost officer Manaranjan Das and others of harassing him and failing to resolve the dispute. Das has been transferred to Puri district headquarters following the allegations, said police.
