After the defence department lodged a complaint against illegal constructions on Lohegaon-Wagholi Road, the civic body on Saturday demolished structures on nearly 20,000 sq ft, said PMC officials. Civic and transport authorities are coordinating field operations to improve commuter safety, reduce transit bottlenecks, and streamline daily travel across key urban corridors.
