Muvattupuzha municipal chairperson Joyce Mary Antony has alleged that the opposition is raising allegations against the Thiriveni Onam programme out of frustration over the public’s enthusiastic response to the event held by the local body. The response comes days after the opposition alleged widespread irregularities in the event conducted as part of Onam festivities.
