The Odisha government has assigned five senior IAS officers to five districts likely to be affected by the possible cyclone to oversee preparedness and coordinate response measures on the ground. The officers will visit their respective districts and assist the local administrations in managing cyclone preparedness, post-cyclone relief, rehabilitation and restoration work.
