Berhampur’s much-touted ‘smart roads’ in Ganjam district, built to give the city a modern makeover, are now facing questions over their condition and maintenance. More than Rs 13 crore was spent on four roads in the first phase, with promises of wider roads, convenient footpaths and improved drainage, sources said on Sunday.
